Piment Rouge won the Prix Delahante (LR) over 2000 metres at Marseille as a 2-year-old, defeating Criterium de Provence winner Winter Springs and subsequent Saratoga winner Zvarkhova. The following season, Piment Rouge followed up in the Prix Maurice Caillault (LR) over 2000 metres at Saint-Cloud, beating the classy High Dynamite, who was second in the Prix Noailles (G2) on his next start. Almanaar, winner of two G3 races the same season

and one of the top turf runners in the USA in 2017 / 2018,

was also well beaten behind Piment Rouge at Saint-Cloud.

Piment Rouge confirmed his class when finishing fourth in the

Prix du Jockey-Club / French Derby (G1), behind New Bay, Highland Reel and Green Dispatch. He was also placed

in the Prix la Force (G3) and Prix de Guiche (G3).

Piment Rouge's French handicap: 50.5 kg = International 111.

EVASIVE'S FIRST (FR) ch h 2012

Dam: Zalia / Oasis Dream (Green Desert)

Evasive's First won the Prix des Chênes (G3) over 1600 metres at Longchamp as a 2-year-old, and earned €173,000 in his juvenile campaign, when his results were  2131111. Impressively game, classy and consistent, he took the G3 event from De Treville, 

a half-brother to the world famous performers So Mi Dar 

and Too Darn Hot who is currently standing at stud in France. 

Evasive's First also won the Prix des Jouvenceaux (LR) 

over 1400 metres as a juvenile, outclassing the smart filly 

Ameenah, who subsequently won the Prix Miesque (G3).

Dam Tempera Noire / Miesque's Son (Mr Prospector)

Mademoiselle Marie won the Prix Delahante (LR) over 2000 metres at Cagnes-Sur-Mer as a 2-year-old, and was a smart runner also at three, when she was beaten just 5 1/2 lengths behind Senga in the Prix de Diane / French Oaks (G1) and was 3 lengths behind Breeders' Cup champion Sistercharlie in the Prix Penelope (G3). 

In addition, Mademoiselle Marie ran a good second in the Prix Rose de Mai (LR), narrowly beaten by Music Lover (who was just in front of her in the Prix Penelope).

Mademoiselle Marie's French handicap: 46 kg = International 103.

She was sold for €120,000 at the Arqana Breeding Stock Sale.
